TACAC Membership Dues Structure

Voting Membership - Voting membership is open to employees of any Texas not-for-profit, degree-granting, state or regionally accredited secondary or post-secondary institution.  A regional representative of a non-Texas post-secondary institution who works in or performs the majority of his or her professional duties in Texas is also eligible for voting membership. Voting membership is extended to employees of any Texas education foundation, agency or organization that is not-for-profit and whose primary activities consist of providing counseling, admission or financial aid services to students, the college admission counseling or financial aid professions. Voting membership is also available to independent consultant/counselors who are voting members of NACAC and retired individuals in Texas who are eligible for voting membership in NACAC.

Texas Secondary/Middle/Primary School or School District Employee - $35.00

Texas Post-Secondary Institution Employee - $35.00

Non-Texas Post-Secondary Institution Regional Representative - $35.00

Texas Not-For-Profit Education Foundation/Agency/Organization Employee - $35.00

Independent Consultant/Counselor in Texas (voting member of NACAC) - $35.00

Retired Individual in Texas (eligible for voting membership in NACAC) -$35.00

Apply for membership. or renew existing membership.  *When you apply online, you are able to pay via credit card or select a "bill me" or "pay by check" option.  Both the "bill me" and "pay by check" options will automatically generate an electronic invoice by which you can pay.

Associate Non-Voting Membership – Non-Voting membership is open to employees of any non-Texas not-for-profit, degree-granting, state or regionally accredited secondary or post-secondary institution.  Non-Voting membership is open to employees of any Texas not-for-profit, degree-granting, post-secondary institution that is an active candidate for state or regionally accreditation.  Non-Voting membership is extended to employees of non-Texas education foundation, agency or organization that is not-for-profit and whose primary activities consist of providing counseling, admission or financial aid services to students, the college admission counseling or financial aid professions.  Non-voting membership is extended to employees of companies that are for-profit and whose primary activities consist of providing counseling, admission or financial aid services to students, the college admission counseling or financial aid professions.  Non-Voting membership is also available to independent consultant/counselors who are not Texas voting members of NACAC and retired individuals who are not eligible for Texas voting membership in NACAC.  A student associate non-voting membership is available for students who are enrolled at a TACAC member college or university and who are seeking careers in counseling, admission or financial aid services.
