Professional Development

The Professional Development Committee is responsible for systematically communicating with the membership regarding professional development topics and programs at local, state, and national levels. The committee works closely with the president-elect to prepare programs for the annual conference.

Admission and College Counseling Institute at The University of Texas at San Antonio 1604 Campus, July 21 - 25, 2008. Designed for high school counselors and new college admission professionals, the Institute will consist of both joint and separate higher education and secondary sessions. Joint sessions will include student application case studies and a mock college fair. Several evening activities will provide opportunities for college admission representatives, high school counselors, and resident faculty to visit informally.
