College Fair Committee

College fairs allow students to interact with admission representatives from a wide range of post-secondary institutions. The College Fair Committee helps plan and host these important events throughout the state of Texas to connect students with college representatives.

Each year, Texas hosts three National College Fairs, sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling:

Due to the rapidly developing COVID-19 outbreak, the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the travel restrictions at organizations within our affiliate, and other circumstances outside of our control related to COVID-19, TACAC has made the difficult decision to cancel the RGV and San Antonio Regional College Fairs. NACAC had previously announced that all National College Fairs have been cancelled as well.

All registrations that were still active on March 9 through today will receive a full refund. Credit card payments will be credited to the card on file and checks will be sent for all other types of payment. Please be patient as we process 80 Regional College Fair and over 700 Annual Conference refunds over the coming weeks.

Additionally, TACAC hosts Regional College Fairs:

  • Rio Grande Valley (CANCELLED)
    • April 1, 2020
    • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • San Antonio (CANCELLED)

Co-Chairs: Elizabeth Jones, The Hockaday School | Anni Judkins, Texas State University
