Inclusion, Access and Success

The Inclusion, Access and Success Committee is responsible for assessing the needs of underserved students and the educational professionals who guide them in and through the college process. The committee's success will be demonstrated by:

  • Making quality college enrollment advising and information available to all students
  • Recognizing students who overcome significant obstacles to meet their postsecondary education goals
  • Ensuring that new and middle-level professionals who support underserved students are provided professional growth and development opportunities needed to advance in the profession

Events and Programs:

Camp College - a college preparation program targeted to prepare a diverse group of students from across the state of Texas for college.

Fellows Program - designed to enable admission professionals from underrepresented areas to attend TACAC's annual spring conference and other professional develop opportunities.

Motivate Mea one-day conference designed to inform, inspire, motivate and empower young men of color from Texas high schools. In addition to hearing critical messages from community leaders, attendees will engage with college counseling and higher education professionals whose goal is to strengthen the students’ focus toward the future – specifically successful completion of high school and pursuit and completion of higher education
