Bachelor's Degree in Britain: Advising Texas Students on UK Universities:
This session will provide an overview of the international student experience for US students interested in full degree study in the UK, including the application process and support services available across British campuses, from pre-departure and arrival services to on-campus resources for current students. It would cover aspects of UK student life similar across most British universities and how they compare and contrast with US campuses, including: accommodation options, clubs and societies, athletics, internship and job placements, academic advising, visa support services, and US financial aid and student loans overseas.
