Membership

The Texas Association for College Admission Counseling (TACAC) offers outstanding professional development and networking opportunities for professionals who work with students in the transition from secondary to post-secondary education. TACAC professionals learn and participate in many programs and events that provide opportunities to enhance your skills and information to help you counsel your students more effectively. Membership in the Association is a privilege made available to eligible institutions and individuals. Members shall support the vision of the association:

TACAC develops professionals committed to providing the highest quality counseling to ensure students' access to and persistence through post-secondary education.

The membership year is September 1 - August 31.
Membership dues are $35 for primary members of institutions or organizations, employees of institutions or organizations, and all individual members.

Please log in to your membership portal and update your individual profile/institutional profile if you are an existing member by July 1.

Interested in joining? 
New member applications will open in July for the 2020-2021 academic year. Sign-up to be
notified once the application opens. Current members will automatically receive communication
about renewing in mid-June.
