2018 NYSACAC Liberty Tour
Sunday, March 18 - Wednesday, March 21, 2018
You are invited to join us for the annual NYSACAC Liberty Tour as we explore six colleges in three days in Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Manhattan.
You will spend time on each campus meeting faculty, staff, and students, and learning about each institution’s unique programs and attributes. Each day is brimming with college tours, tasty meals, and hospitality as you travel through New York City with 30 other counselors and your NYSACAC hosts from participating institutions. It is sure to be a fun and worthwhile week, and we sincerely hope you’ll consider joining us!
Below is a tentative schedule for the tour (subject to change):

The NYSACAC Liberty Tour registration fee of $350.00 will provide hotel, tour transportation and most meals. Participants are responsible for the cost of your own transportation to and from New York, along with ground transportation to and from the hotel.
Housing, transportation and most meals will be provided by NYSACAC. The housing during the tour will be at a local hotel, with double occupancy. If you would like a single you would be responsible for the difference. The program is limited to 30 participants, so make sure to register early! We will be unable to honor any refund requests due to the limited number of participants.
Travel planning
You will be notified of your status well in advance of the tour in order to make your own travel arrangements. Complete details, itinerary, and directions will follow. If you are taking air transportation, the closest airports are, JFK or LaGuardia. The Jamaica Long Island Railroad station is only 30 minutes ride from Brooklyn where the tour will begin.
Please make sure your flight arrives in New York by 4:00pm on Sunday, March 18th and plan to depart on Wednesday, March 21st after 2:00pm.
Please note that due to limited space, only one counselor per school will be allowed on the tour. Please also note that due to the high demand for this tour, no refunds will be honored.

This tour does not appear to be open to Independent Counselors. Only counselors in independent schools. see below **Please note that this tour is only open to School Counselors who serve at public or private/independent high schools outside of the New York City area, and only one counselor per school will be allowed on the tour due to spaces**
