Membership

The Texas Association for College Admission Counseling (TACAC) offers outstanding professional development and networking opportunities for professionals who work with students in the transition from secondary to post-secondary education. TACAC professionals learn and participate in many programs and events that provide opportunities to enhance their skills and information to help you counsel your students more effectively. Membership in the Association is a privilege made available to eligible non-profit secondary and post-secondary professionals, institutions and organizations.

Members shall support the vision of the association:
TACAC develops professionals committed to providing the highest quality counseling to ensure students' access to and persistence through post-secondary education.

The membership year runs from September 1 to August 31. The membership form is available September 1 - April 30. 

Membership dues are $55 for primary members of institutions or organizations, each linked employee of an institution or organization, and all individual members.
New memberships may take up to 24 business hours for your status to update.

Payment Policies & Terms:

      • Payment is due upon receipt.
      • Payment may be made by check or credit card only; purchase orders are not accepted.
      • Failure to pay within 30 days will result in a lapse of membership or cancellation unless we receive communication.
      • Memberships are non-refundable.
      • Memberships purchased by an institution or organization may be transferred due to changes in employment.
      • Any request to change the payment method will incur a $15 processing fee per member.
