The Texas Association for College Admission Counseling is currently accepting applications for the two open positions: Drive-In Workshop Co-Chair and Annual Conference Coordinator. See below to learn more and apply today!
The Conference Coordinator is a member of the Executive Board and works with the President-Elect/Conference Chair to plan, coordinate, and implement the spring annual conference. 

Duties of the Conference Coordinator include:

  1. Coordinate the activities of all subcommittees.
  2. Track conference expenses of the subcommittees.
  3. Track conference hotel expenses and overall income with Executive Assistant.
  4. In coordination with Executive Assistant, act a liaison to the hotel, including the reservation of meeting rooms and equipment.
  5. Other responsibilities as delegated by the Chairperson
The Conference Coordinator serves a three-year term and will coordinate the 2020, 2021, and 2022 annual conferences. In addition to conference planning responsibilities, the Conference Coordinator will attend four Executive Board meetings each year (Summer EBoard meeting - June, NACAC Conference EBoard meeting - September, Winter EBoard meeting - January, TACAC Annual Conference EBoard meeting - March).

The Texas Association for College Admission Counseling is currently accepting applications for the position of Drive-In Workshop Co-Chair. The Drive-In Workshop Co-Chair reports to the Professional Development Committee Co-Chairs. 

Responsibilities of the Drive-In Workshop Co-Chairs:

  1. Recruit and train Coordinators for regional Drive-In Workshops.
  2. Oversee and support the efforts of regional Workshop Coordinators as they:
    1.  Set dates and times.
    2. Arrange for facilities.
    3. Prepare agendas.
    4. Recruit speakers.
    5. Publicize to TACAC members through the Executive Assistant.
    6. Make arrangements for lunch.
    7. Host event.
    8. Follow up with participants.
    9. Submit expenses incurred to the TACAC Treasurer.
  3. Communicate with sponsor of events (if any) with relevant information.
  4. Submit quarterly reports to the Professional Development Co-Chairs to be shared with the Executive Board.

The Drive-In Workshop Co-Chair serves a two-year term and will coordinate the 2020 and 2021 Drive-In Workshops.
