The Conference Coordinator is a member of the Executive Board and works with the President-Elect/Conference Chair to plan, coordinate, and implement the spring annual conference.
Duties of the Conference Coordinator include:
- Coordinate the activities of all subcommittees.
- Track conference expenses of the subcommittees.
- Track conference hotel expenses and overall income with Executive Assistant.
- In coordination with Executive Assistant, act a liaison to the hotel, including the reservation of meeting rooms and equipment.
- Other responsibilities as delegated by the Chairperson
The Conference Coordinator serves a three-year term and will coordinate the 2020, 2021, and 2022 annual conferences. In addition to conference planning responsibilities, the Conference Coordinator will attend four Executive Board meetings each year (Summer EBoard meeting - June, NACAC Conference EBoard meeting - September, Winter EBoard meeting - January, TACAC Annual Conference EBoard meeting - March).
